But I'd be a okay drummer anyway, I've been only playing for a year, while I'm a better bassist though. Or maybe I stepped my boundaries with these statements. Ohh well.

Are you kidding? Would you really want some of this? :disgust:

Her entire album was written for her.
She is a designer artist...

That can't be right?! Why do I hate her songs so much? :p
She calls herself punk and yet claims to not know who the Sex Pistols are and she might pick up a Ramones CD to "see what all the hype is about."

She was a country artist before she got into this punk scene...

That... explains a lot... have you seen pics of her without makeup? Definite trailer trash

Thats cool bro. I LOVE my Ibanez BASS guitar though man. I just love the deepness of it.

What kind of drum setup you got? Double Bass? Or a cheapo like me, I have a iron cobra bouble beater with 1 bass.

If its romance you want? Can't go wrong with some LIZA and a little Barbra.... Streisand that is.
The classics always fit my bill. But I agree eakers this time of year I kinda get that fruity feeling too. Then I remember I celebrate neither christmas nor chanuka. Then I get depressed and I feel like lynching someone and shooting with a 12 gauge shotgun. But HEY that ME! ;D

I don't like her at all. After reading her interview in Rolling Stone this month my hatred reaches a new level.

I just practice on my bands drummers set. Its a 1967 antique peice of crap :) Single base, three toms, snare, 4 cymbals, and a high-hat

Ive got a peavey international milestone III. Entry level bass, but it has really good sound when I use a decent amp and not the POS crate 15 watt 8 incher I have right now.

Oh, and that Avril song was alright. Not great, but it didnt suck as much as she does (or so I hear)

hehe, I started off with a not so cool drum setup too. I had a Swing star with 4 toms, 2 crash, 1 ride, and a horrible hi hat from 1970's something. Which would just fall over in middle of songs, the cymbals were taped all around and the snare has broken chains underneath.

I had portable POS amp and it was great, I had a night job when I was younger, I would play bass in the NYC subway at 12 am in the morning waiting for the train. lol

Avril co-wrote her album and she dropped out of school in order to get this album out. Yes early in her career she did have some country influences but hell she comes from small Town Ontario. I've passed through Napanee on a train and trust me it's not much of anything. The main country event that she's linked to is singing on stage with Shania Train after winning a contest[radio contest I think]. Personally I hated Sk8ter Boi, but the rest of the album is good, especially when you compare it to the Pop-Shiat Britney and Chrisitina pump out on a yearly basis. Now I may be biased being Canadian but I love a lot of the music coming out of Canada lately. Sum 41, Avril Lavigne, The Tragically Hip, Bif Naked, Simple Plan, Treble Charger but maybe it's just me.

I don't care what anyone thinks of me, but I like it.

I'm sick of these stupid "oh it's on the radio, it must be sh!t"...

Granted I don't like how everything gets overplayed, but I don't think that any of it really sucks.

You're not biased. For the most part, music out of Canada has always been great. Is that the lead singer of Bare Naked Ladies singing on the new Brian Adams song? Or, at least I thought I heard the BNL lead singer.
