You carrying a lot swing weight clubs or a ton of balls? I weighed my bag last night. Came in at a whopping 26.6 poounds. Thats with the following settup:

Callaway walking style golf bag (not sure what model)
Callaway big bertha 2005 irons (5I-9I, SW, PW)
Cleveland 54 and 60 degree Wedges
TaylorMade Burner 5W, 3W, and Driver.
~6 balls
~50 tees
Towel
Random Golf course trash (mainly old receipts)

Well I actually have a ridiculous number of balls in my bag, 36. 25 lbs just seems light to me. Unfortunately I don't have anything to weigh it with.
