You'd have to be a complete idiot to believe the airport authorities would just say "Ok, go ahead" based on a second-hand report from some guy with a connection to the Internet.

Just as bad as the one where some tools says his iPhone replaced his iPod, camera, cell phone and phone he used for sending text messages. "I used to carry around 4 things..."

All of those commercials piss me off.

i ran across a maddox rant about the iphone. his rants are hit or miss, but I totally agree with him on the nokia e70. it's a fucking awesome phone. far better than the iphone.

Yep.

Bottom line: iPhone is expensive and priced too high for the majority of folks to want to buy. Reports of buggy phones and QC issues as always with the Chinese crap Apple makes and a decline in US economy has caused a slump in iPhone sales. Apple invested a lot in it and isn't selling the iPhone like originally thought.

The fact is that they shouldn't have to advertise as much as they have been if it was so great. iPhone commercials were heavy when it debuted and then they dropped off for 4 months...now they're back again. They need a new advertising company.

well, its obvious the air traffic controllers were not using iphones with the capability to see www.weather.com 's radar.

the pilot is using a superior technology and helped get his plane off the ground faster.

i fail to see a problem here.

Apple makes crap? I dunno about you, but my ipod hasnt ever broken on me, same as my laptop....

Seems like apple is doing pretty well with the iphone and their products as of late.

If apple isn't doing well, why have their shares gone up SOOOO much (Read: A LOT) since the start of the year?

I had to send back 2 iPods from the factory. They outsource manufacturing to Chinese plants and workers are worked 80 hrs/week. There were quite a few articles about it in the Economist and around the internet if you want to research it. Apple's quality controll declined in the last 3-4 years. iPhones had quite a few issues from what my coworkers told me... I know one of them is on his third, but then he got his the day it came out.

I would post the economist articles, but you have to be a subscriber to read them.

Yea...the pilot one in the OP is bad, but this one is worse. That guy makes me so angry. Plus his new iPhone starts his car, cuz in the morning he grabs his iPhone, grabs his wallet, jumps in the car and goes.

and he has a separate phone for "emails and text messaging and stuff like that".

I want to punch him in the head.

I had both an iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle die on me, and both of my roommates, and my roommates' girlfriend, had standard iPods die on them.

Yea...I understand what they're going for, 'hey look you can get real-time weather updates on your phone!' - but they straight up lie in their commercials. I really dislike Apple's marketing.
