Dumb.

Ass.

How did you just "put your hand down" on a hot burner? Didn't I tell you about doing a bowl before you start cooking, hmmmm? Like, duh, dude; that thing DOES get slightly warm, you know? Hope you feel better. If it's burned beyond the first few layers of skin, you might want to go get checked out.

But, being that you DO feel pain (dummy) it's a first degree burn, possibly a second. Third degree burns you feel no pain at all b/c the nerves are burned away. But boy do you feel the pain when they start to regenerate. :Q Feel better soon. From now on, order in, OK? ;)

Also, if it starts to blister up real bad, I would go to the clinic and see if they can get you some cream/ointment for that. You don't want it to get infected.

Well, I was making breakfast for my girlfriend (that porkchop dinner went great btw), and after I took the frying pan off the stove I forgot to turn the element off. I just had my back to the stove and meant to kind of lean back and put my hands on the counter but I didn't realise I was right in front of the stove.

It is just a small burn (that left some cool marks), but it still hurts like a bitch.

OMG! When I read "that porkchop dinner" I had to reread the whole thing again. I would have felt HORRIBLE if you would've burned your hand while making something that I suggested. Bad karma and all that jazz. :(

But being it had nothing to do w/my dinner, it's OK. :D Just kidding.

So, it went well, huh? What did she think of it? How did you like Mike's Chops? I'm curious.

Probably the same way my cousin *cough*myputer*cough* lights a burner on a stove to light her cigarette, and has to light the one with a potholder laying on it. Thereby setting her cousins stove on fire while she is on the phone with her boyfriend. And then, she did it again at her house last week! Sheesh. :p

Keep ice on it Stefan, like everyone said, and get some burn ointment to help it heal faster. *edit* after the blisters break that is, don't put anything on them.

Those chops were delicious. I added some onions, green peppers and mushrooms to the pan as well while I fried 'em up. I also had some wild rice, corn, french bread and some wine with the meal. It was great in the dining room w/ the lights turned low and a nice candle buning.

The night had a great ending as well. Before we went to sleep (and after other events), I gave her a real long massage (neck, back, feet) with this sweet strawberry scented oil...

I drove her to university this morning after making her breakfast.

The night couldn't have been better :D

Cool! Good for you. Green pepper, onions and shrooms, huh? I must try that...you may have just improved on The Mike Chops! ;)

Sounds like you did the evening up right. Dinner and a massage for desert. Good to go.

And I'm glad to see that you made breakfast the next morning. I've always said to my girlfriends over the years "A real man will make you breakfast the next morning, baby!" :D

Been w/my current GF for more than 2 years now....I still say it. She ignores me, but that's ok. ;)

Glad to hear it went well.

...no psycho...

yea I've done dumb stuff like that before, get yourself some neosporin or something similar and grease it on there, cools the burning and also helps it heal... apparently it helps to put it in milk too, although I've never really remembered to do that when I burn an appendge.. :)

Once my dad was gas welding copper piping on a large piece of equipment, I came back from the office to see what he was up to, leaned over and rested my hand on the RECENTLY WELDED copper tubing, it was so hot I didnt even notice for like 4 seconds. My hand burned and felt like it was on fire for hours. My dad got a good chuckle :|

edit: Wtf psycho ur gonna get modded - I did the same thing. J0or teh busted, no excessive smilies.
