omg... that was absolutely disgusting. wtf is this dude's issue? why the hell kill these animals? they weren't doing anything and it's not like he's going to eat them or anything.

he even provoked the animals to charge by kicking dirt at it. wtf is wrong with this dicknose?

Meh... I have no problem with hunters. I grew up with a freezer full of moose meat. I ate so much moose I'm surprised I don't have antlers. If you kill it to eat it, cool. Mount that rack... Make a nice rug out of it. No big deal.

But I've never been comfortable with trophy hunting. I mean, who the eff eats a hippo? And if you're killing for the "rush" like that guy seems to be doing, you need help.

I could tell he was an assclown from the video, but that doesn't really answer my question. I want to know what his problem is. Was he raped by a hippo at the zoo when he was a kid? Did his father have him hold on to a stuffed elephant while his father molested him? Those answer my questions, not "He's an assclown."

Fact is the animals he hunts do in fact need to be hunted. Its like any animal, you cant just walk out and start shooting them. There are rules and laws which must be followed to ensure good population controls.

Its the way in which he does it that angers people.

One day, I WILL go big game/dangerous game hunting. I want to go after cats myself, although a hippo would be fun too.

Same here. I grew up eating lots of wild animal, and want to get into hunting. But I don't want to kill an elephant, rhino, or pretty much anything just to hang it on the wall.

That, and when you do go on a big game hunt most of the animal gets used up. Its not like the old days of buffalo hunting where you kill an entire herd just for the hide and let the rest rot in the sun.

Because they are insanely territorial. Stay off their territory and you don't die. Further, I doubt someone is going to eat (or use) an entire hippo (and the sale of their meat is illegal).
