I was born in '83, so perhaps some of the inside jokes eluded me. But it didn't seem very funny at all. The 70's show was much better.

i didnt see it, but i love that 70's show, and i doubt this is any good. I think they're just thinking of things to fill up time slots. They should just make more family guy episodes.

I really didn't like it. That 70's Show is much better IMO. But maybe they'll turn it around. The whole point of That 80's Show seems to be playing only on the quirks and inside jokes of the 80's. Sure That 70's Show did plenty of that, but it also did it sooo much better..

With that kind of logic, why would you be able to get the jokes from the 70's, then? :p

I'm watching it right now (delayed by Timberwolves game).

Not horrible. I didn't think too much of "That 70's Show" the first few episodes either, but I continued to watch it.

"Is my nose bleeding?" :Q OMG!

Much props to Fox for knowing what their target audience wants to see.

They know damn well its just a That 70's Show rehash, and that it'll be tough to sell to the general public. What do they do? Get an incredibly gorgeous woman to play bisexual and have her lust after one of the actor's little sisters. I mean, they kissed! WTF?

*cough* Not that I'm complaining, cuz good God, she's hot.

Edit: In hindsight, the show wasn't too bad at all. It got me to chuckle a few times. It has potential.

The "hey look at the funny stuff from the 80's" thing will wear off real quick. The writers from that 70's show knew that, that's why the show actually has some content.
