9 times out of 10 (if not more) it's better to contact one or more mediators to help you through a situation. Throwing up a post about it is oftentimes premature and can scar reputations. Generally, as the thread lengthens, the assumptions get more broad and you're left with nearly baseless accusations.

Communication is the #1 thing and it's the sort of thing that can go on via email/PM/phone, etc. The last thing we need is everybody chiming in without knowing the whole story.

What appears to be a clerical error or simple misunderstanding was blown completely out of proportion. Was bad form on woodie's part, pure and simple.
