I tried searching but couldn't find any info on whether this cpu is a tbred B and how well it will overclock:

AXDA2100DUT3C
AIUHB 0249

any help would be appreciated. I purchased this at newegg.com

Throughbred-B. You can tell by the U in it's name, most Palominos and Throughbred-A have K or L there. You can probably jump straight to 166FSB with almost no voltage boost.

I have a AIUHB0304. Right out of the box, ran it at 166x13. tweaking some more right now to get some more MHz out of this bad boy

With quality components and good cooling (HSF and case cooling), 2200-2300+ MHz is easily attainable.

Run a search on 2100+ and you'll find multiple results threads with gobs of info and settings used. There's a large enough user base now that you'll probably be able to find someone with nearly the same components you are using.

cool thanks, I have an sk7 and an 8cm fan on it.... it ran 13x166 no problem on the nForce2 board w/ pc2700 mem. I think I'll stick w/ that overclock for now since nothing except the cpu is above spec.

Thanks

actually, the 2400+ has a K i think ...i think its DKV3C or something...
i believe that denotes the default voltage, not stepping
easiest way, if stepping ends in a B, then its a B ....at least thatsthe case so far (and i have no reason to doubt why it wouldnt contineu...unless amd pulls a fast one)

but for the 2100+ and lower, DUT3C=tbred b

i have the same chip, also from newegg, its a good chip you should be able to get more out of it (that is if you want). im stable at 13.5 * 180 @ 1.775v. for some reason i cant seem to get above 180 fsb. i think it might have something do with the mobo (8rda+), but then again i have seen people run the same board at over 200 fsb, so maybe i have hit the max for the chip. who knows.

I just had my 2100+ Tbred "B" week 0301 running at 18x133MHz (2400MHz CPU freq.)!! I have a WCPUID to prove it. Unfortunately it wasn't stable so the hightest I could run it at on 133MHz FSB is 2272MHz. That's a 542MHz overclock with average components.

8RDA+, Tbred "B" 2100+, Coolermaster HHC-001 (muted with a nice fan).

Right now I am ramping up the FSB to see where it tops out at FSBwise. Right now it is running Prime95 sweetly. Another 15 minutes or so and I'll run a 3DMark2001SE. If that works out, I'll bump up to 155MHz FSB. And so on...
