Got my last flat changed at a VW dealer... Went out this morning and had another flat, so i call AAA to change it, he arrives 20 minutes later, and we can't find the key. Lovely.

So now i have to flatbed my car in the morning to VW and get the lock sawed off.

Tommorow also happens to be the first day at school as well.

Free with AAA(the towing), and I bet the dealer doesn't charge you much either, so I don't blame you. Sucks either way, dude.

#1. Dealer is closed today.
#2. I was told by the man who came out to fix the tire that VW has quite a few different locks they use and it would be near impossible to match them up without having the car there.

B/c it will save you the headache of having lost wheel keys and having your car towed?😉
 
IIRC, they sell something at autozone for just such a purpose.... hammers onto the lock lugnut..

Hint: buy 4 new lugnuts and replace the locking ones...
 
I just had a flat tonight. I changed the tire out in about 15 mins on the side of the interstate in 30 degree weather. I would have been sitting on the side of the road for longer than that waiting for someone to come. Change your own tire you lazy ass! 😀
