Give me a pen and you'll see what it looks like when a 7-year old writes. First of all I can't "write" anymore at all, not in any way. Its all printing and my form is like a child's.

I can write extremely fast and with out any errors on a keyboard but I´m just about the only one in the world that can understand my own handwriting.

Me to czar, most people look at me type in awe because of my speed, but nobody can read my chicken scrawlings.

Usually I can manage to make a mark that looks about like my signature. That's about my upper limit.

Sad to say, this is true for me as well. I used to have the most beautiful penmanship... now it's gone! Gone!

One time I caught myself writing almost right "LOL" on one of my in-class essays :) and I've noticed that my handwriting is getting really really small and kinda messy

Isla, wouldn't that be penwomanship? Is there something we don't know?! :Q

jk :)

Anyway, I have very nice, neat hand writing (only print...I don't do "cursive"- never have, never will) and I write at a moderate clip- not a speed deamon, but I'm not really a slow poke. :)

I had to fill out an application a while ago, and my hand started cramping up! What's up with that? This wasn't a very long application. When I was young, I could write page after page after page... Now I just sit and type at this computer thing.

My handwriting always sucked.

One day, we are going to tell our kids that we use to have to write out essays for class. Non of this fancy typing crap we have.

Being someone who's used computers intensively since an early age, I can only print and it looks pretty sloppy. I've forgotten lots of cursive :)

On the other hand, I can type over 100 words per minute with relative ease.

Yesterday I got a Handspring Visor Platinum (my first PDA)... and I'm worried my handwriting will get screwed up even more from the special graffiti style writing you use with it (letter over letter, really big characters, short-hand).

my handwriting has always been shocking, my mother calls it beetle arabic if that's an indicator :) I'm basically the only one who can read it, but then again, I'm not complaining, i can still write ok though, I'm trying to get myself to write in my diary again, damn conscience :)

*raises hand, and lowers head in shame* Me too :(

Hell, the only thing I can "write" in cursive is my name...and it's not legible. I can correctly do my middle initial, but god save me if I have to do anything more than first name, last name, middle initial in cursive.

Everything else is chicken scratch.

I was never able to write cursive properly. I can print mediocrely, but not write. Typing is no problem here either. :D

My handwriting has always been an illegible scrawl. But my spelling has definity gotten worse, why cant paper have little squiggly red lines like computers do :frown:.

BTW: It's true, all smart people have illegible handwriting, Newton, Einstein, Me :)

I have a written expression learning disability so my writing has always sucked ... luckily the computer was made so that I can express myself in a more easily understood format .. although I'm having to write more for my new job .. plus e_mc_2's older sister and I have started coresponding ... I feel so sorry for her having to read my writing ... hers is very nice ...
