i thought it was the hat/ shirt combo and the manufactured snarl face.

and to be honest, beyond seeing a few lighters and cell phone covers i didnt know who he was either. and i enjoy tattoos. id not buy or wear a shirt like that, but i dont care who else decides they like it.

dbag fb group is dbags IMO.

I misread the previous post I quoted. I thought Zeus was asking why some here think that guy pictured is tough.

I'm not familiar with the tattooist. I'm gonna Google shortly, and see what they say. Right now I'm guessing he was that guy from the early days? If so, I'm not that crazy about his work. It's got some cool retro appeal, but it's a little too primitive for my taste. I definitely wouldn't get Tshirts or anything like that with the designs.

Edit:
Ok, I just looked him up. It wasn't who I thought it was. I did see some image examples though, and I'm not a fan of tattoo art when it isn't a tattoo. It's kind of WalMart trendy :^D

People are just jealous of them. You call them "doochebags" and make fun of them, but it takes a lot of hard work to gain muscle and take care of your body.

do you leave your house? or are you just a country boy?
Yes, no.

Born and raised in CA. Spent a couple years in CT. Never heard of Ed Hardy. I may have seen it, but I certainly wouldn't recognize it. I would never wear those types of clothes.

I mean, seriously, who would wear shit like this even if it was free?

I don't get it. I see a guy wearing a hat, t-shirt with design and jeans. Dunno if I could pick out someone wearing Ed Hardy from someone wearing shit from Target.

edit: Oh, it's all tattoo inspired designs or something? Meh, certainly not worth any sort of price premium, and I still doubt I'd be able to pick them out without finding the "Ed Hardy" somewhere or checking the tag.

This is exactly the point. Its trash. Its highly marketed, expensive, clashy trash, that for some reason became popular because some celbreties were paid to wear and endorse it (Madonna). Its the absolute edge of consumerism/trend/name brand fail - and PEOPLE EAT IT UP!
I just dont get it. Maybe if it actually looked good. but like you said, it looks like somethign a three year old scribbled or canbe bought at target.

Oh and its all easily identifiable because every single article of clothing has ED HARDY by CHRISTIAN AUDIGER printed on it in huge font. Basically its a big banner saying "Im a douchebag who just spent $200 on a shitty T-shirt I could have made myself. WHy? Because I can."

what world do you live in look up for the list of products marketed and sold in his name. It is the single most played out brand

I live in a world where people don't care about stupid shitty fashion trends and diesel jeans. It's a fantastic place.

He must have a ton of those shirts. He wants to feel cool. Help make him feel cool. Recognize him dammit!

no if you read the trhead I have been shitting on ed hardy the whole time. I wouldn't be caught dead using any ed hard products aside for maybe toilet paper....the only way I could show my entire disdain for the brand appropriately.

I don't get it either, I think plain black T-shirt 1 size small works best if you got muscles 🙂 Can always put on a bling watch if you are craving attention 😉
