Although I'm not sitting in the middle east right now (currently at Ft Rucker in flight school) I'd like to say my personal thanks for all the support of the military people have offered. A fair number of people are opposed to the conflict, of course, but thanks for all the support.

Depending on how long the war lasts, I may make a trip over as well, and your continued support is needed and greatly appreciated.

I hope I speak for all of us when I say that we appreciate we the job you folks do and the risks that you take, even if we don't always back the stuff you are sent to do (which, of course, is decided by other people).

Sometimes that gets lost in all of this.
