I've never had this happen, I'm trying to pay for some stuff funded by CC to another paypal user but it won't let me pay via cc! Only with bank or e-check. Now I've tried to send it to a random list of people that I've dealt with recently and the funding option through CC is allowed with them, just not this one individual. This is what the message says when I click on the details

Have you made many payments lately? I think there is a cap on the amount you can send by CC in a certain time frame.
 
I checked my limits, there are none showing. Another reason why that is not the answer is because I just bought a power supply the other day off a member of AT right, so I went ahead and filled out a send money in the same amount that I'm trying to right now, it lets me send it to their paypal account(I didn't submit the payment, I just cancelled it), just not the person I'm trying to send it too, what's also strange is it will let me send up to a certain amount but not over to this person, when to others I can send anything funded by CC!
 
Have you tried emailing paypal? Maybe they've had a problem with this person in the past and are limiting the amount that can be sent to him.

Another solution might be to send mulitiple payments in smaller amounts.
 
Perhaps the person you are attempting to pay has his account set up to not accept CC payments? Is that possible?

Hi,

There are some fairly complex risk models in place that can impact payments at times. I think that is what you are running into here. Sadly, I can't give more information because the risk models are based on fairly complex computations that I don't understand.

I knew you would see this sometime, this person has received payments in CC form of over a thousand dollars, they have like 1 transaction that is showing(I don't know where they are claiming the others are.)..I'm just trying to make sure that my account is not the one that's having the issue.


To confirm what I think and paypaldamon, would someone be kind enough to ATTEMPT to make a cc transfer to this email address , NOT COMPLETE it just see if it lets you fund via credit card to this email address donnaf@gp-plastics.com in the amount of 877.00


It would be really great of someone to try this and let me know if they are allowed to fund by CC or not to this email address.
Please understand that I don't want you to complete this transaction, I just want to see if you can fund via credit card to this address in the amount of 877.00..
The max that I find that it will let me is around 300.00 but nothing above.
