What if iran pulled strings to get your democratically elected government overthrown and put a patsy in charge so that a 3rd country could steal your natural resources?

Really? I dont know how I would feel.

We have people in this country that want iran dead because they said these things and retaliated to our pulling of the strings so many years ago. Such minor offenses in comparison.

Remember mccain singing bomb iran? How do you think that went over?

Unless you are a crazy person or monster, you would not want to kill millions of people for that act.

As for McCain, it went over very badly here in the US, so you can enjoy that knowledge. I think that McCain was joking about bombing but that is still horrible because of his position and the fact that bombing always kills far too many innocent.

I mean, everyone knows Democratic freedom, compassion, and understanding are big winners in Iran. Of course they want to sit down and talk policy.

What about bush saying Iran was part of the axis of evil? That was at a time when Iran was reaching out to us because they felt bad about 9/11. No. The neocons did and are grooming iran to be our next money making ground war. Of course that pisses(ed) iran off and Im glad we are getting some kind of peace deal going through now. Hopefully that will cool off our military industrial complex.

Democratic freedom was a big winner there until we decided to take it away for oil profits.

You all have been propagandized for the last 40 years on this and many issues. Luckily we have open information these days with the internet and we can all look and find truths for ourselves but be careful because there is a lot of untruths and doublethink on the internet as well.

We once armed Bin Laden. That doesn't mean I would hand him an airliner after September 11th. We're dealing with the Middle East Theocracy of today, not some budding paradise we steamrolled 50 years ago.

They have made some leadership changes to come to this agreement. I think what Im saying is both of our countries have made mistakes and its good for us to all realize that and come to the table with that in mind.

Of course we could try to carry on with the same broken policiies just because thats what we have done but I personally dont think that's the right choice.

We should always give peace a chance.

Before Bush used that term, it had no meaning. In the context of that, you have to take how he defined the term. His definition was a state that sponsored terrorism and gaining nuclear weapons. Both of those thing are true, so of all the shit Bush did, I dont have a problem with that.

Bush was also buddy buddy with Israel and the Rs hate Iran so it was a win win by showing they were not happy with Iran.

Not sure what your point is though.

Jihadis strongly tend to be Sunni rather than Shia. They're followers of the Wahhabi & Deobandi sects. Shia are not. Khamenei heads the Shia of Iran.
