Thanks everyone for your opinions on what to buy as an upgrade. I have the following on its way :

E-Machines P3 550
32 MB Ram
6 Gig HDD
ATI All in wonder video card

It should be a great machine for me.

On its way is :

AMD Athlon TBird 1.2Ghz w/ Global Win FOP38 and Arctic Silver
Epox EP-8K7A Mobo
256 MB Crucial DDR CL 2 Ram
Fong Kai 320 Black Case w/ extra fans.

The other one sounds like you'll be doing allot of intensive video editing or database work huh ?
Pfffft Yea right....If Quake3 is database work.......

Yes...massive database work..in..Shadowbane...DAoC...Planetside...Neverwinter Nights...Unreal 2...all very very intensive database work.

The black case just caught my eye, its all cool looking n stuffs It's a seriously nice functional case besides looking nice too =P

Black faceplates? Naw....black spraypaint dont cost much

A black floppy is the same price as standard floppies...and I gotta get a floppy anyway.

CD Rom drive im just gonna run my HP8100i as my main CD ROM and Burner. Its a darkish grey, so it wont clash anywhere near as bad as beige.

tell me where you are going to buy your black floppy, I have the same black case and want my floppy to match

To be honest, if i didnt have to buy another floppy (since im building a second system from my old parts) I would just take the faceplate off a beige floppy and spraypaint it black..no joke. Just remove the faceplate, bring it outside, put it on some old newspaper and spraypaint it black. Let it dry thoroughly and then reattach it.
