A few days ago I posted this thread at my forums. I just received an e-mail from Monel Funkawitz. Apparently some of you have made a collection for me to help with my car. That is unbelievable. It's so nice of you all. I can't believe it. *Wipes a tear* When everything was going so bad...you guys come in and bring with you a ray of light. You have no idea how much it all means to me. These guys will do anything to help out a friend. I wanted to keep the thread updated but from bad apples messing things up in the past it had to be locked.

BTW, I'm in need of a GE minigun, M2, M16A2, Ferrarri, private island, and other stuff. Can you take a collection for me next week? 🙂 LOL

I am sorry to hear your having car trouble. Actually so am I so we are in the same boat.

I just lost my clutch today 🙁 Took it into the dealer to have my emmisions retested (i was complaining about it) and have a stall problem to be looked at. Turns out my damn clutch wasnt engaging right and hence was stalling it.. On top my emmisions need some work..

Sometimes I feel if a car is over 100K just sell it and get a new one or a used one with lesser miles.. it makes the repair stuff so much more easier to deal with.

So far my bill in the last couple of weeks for the car is over 2500!

This is dealership work, I coudl have worked on teh car myself, but then I am no genius under the hood.

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. 🙁 I hate not being able to drive when I want to. lol I'll know more hopefully by tomorrow. Many people have told me not to drive it up there, so I might have to find someone to haul it. We'll see though. We're off to a good start now thanks to everyone's help. 😀

Things almost always turn around if you have some faith. It sounds stupid, but it works. Sometimes in our darkest hours it can be the people you least expect that will help you. I don't really have any money to spare, but if I did I would give you some help as well. Instead I shall wish you well and hope that everything works out great for ya.

I know. Things lately just seemed to be taking a turn for the worse. I was so surprised with this. It was like finally some good news in the midst of all the bad. 🙂

I was told that there's a blown head gasket. There is oil leaking into the coolant and it's causing like a sludge in my radiator. The guy I took it to said that I should just clean it up and sell it. It would be at least $850 for him to fix. I could have done that, but I wouldn't have gotten much over what I still owe, plus I wouldn't have money to buy a new one. So, my dad talked to my cousin's bf who is a mechanic and that has worked on my car before. He said that it was worth fixing and that I could take it to him. They live by my dad which is about 5 1/2 hours North of here. So, I am just waiting to get it hauled there and get fixed! Thank you, Electric!!!!
