Regardless of whether we should or shouldn't be some where, I just want to say thanks to the US Armed forces risking their lives every day.

I am neither Republican nor Democrat but I am an American that will support our men and women in the Armed Forces all the way.

well put, and as an upcoming Army ROTC cadet... i wish our country was full of people like you. makes us feel like we are actually fighting for something, besides the politicians

Hey... if you get shipped somewhere, let me know and i will send you packages. i have belonged to AdoptAPlatoon for about 3.5 years. I get soldiers to write to and ship goodies to and do nice campaign collection drives for holiday gifts for our men and women.

You know, I always wonder what the general population thinks about us. Both military and police, as I kinda do both... And sometimes it's so depressing to read the threads on here about what people think about the police. But threads like this make up for it, I guess. 🙂 Thank ya'll, for giving a sh!t. 🙂

i hope i wont ever have to ask you to ship anything to any platoon i may lead, as that would mean in 4 years we are still at war or are in a new war (iran, n.korea, china/taiwan), but thats not to say i wouldn't accept. 🙂
i give an 'i love you' to you to for what you do for our troops. there are so many people out there that dont seem to ever publicly support our troops that it seems as if no one does anymore. good to know there are kind citizens in our country. 😀
