QFT...while the moderation here is far from terrible I do find it often biased much more than other forums I frequent. That said we seem to have a lot more moderators than most as well.

I have been a moderator in the past during BBS type days. It's a hard job to keep it non-personal and non-biased.

All in all this is my favorite work-day forum. It's hard to find forums today that don't have NSFW crap plastered all over the place.
 
There's a reason this is the only forum I frequent nowadays. The moderating shapes the community, and I appreciate that we continue to have fun threads, crazy posters, and SFW content.

Overall, with only one personal exception, I agree that the moderation here is usually fair and even-handed.

I've moderated on a couple of reefing sites and it's definitely a thankless job most of the time...but the pay and benefits are pretty good...😛 Hell, look at Oldsmoboat...he made enough money moderating here to build an addition to his basement. 😀



I'd sure like to know the back story to the spaceman thread though...that was quite a meltdown he had.
