Yeah...Windows 8 really wasn't that bad, but I guess it needed people to hate on it for ridiculous reasons to get 10 here.

Good on Microsoft for the free Windows 10 upgrade though; it's pretty fantastic.

I haven't had a chance to get really into the details of windows 10, but from the few minutes I've spent with it, it's still lousy and I'll stick to windows 7. For one thing, windows 10 doesn't include windows media center. MS sent out adware pretending to be an "important" windows update, and it will start nagging you about windows 10. No thanks, I'll pass.

I had some idiot redneck driving around my neighborhood in his bigass pickup with two confed flags and had painted on them "It's heritage not hate" a few days ago. Not shitting you, that's all he was doing was driving around the neighborhood just to show that shit off. Mind you I don't give two shits about the message, but what I do care about was the fact that we're a dense residential neighborhood with kids and this asshole in a huge pickup was tearing down the streets, posted limit is 25mph, obviously speeding so that he could attention whore.

Only reason I noticed him was because I was on my way home from work and he nearly ran his truck into me on my street.

Attention whores. Oh, yeah, and this thread too.
 
Great o/s, better than 7(so far) and miles better than 8. Upgrade went fine for the most part.

As a WP user the integration still suck, no improvement compare to 7/8. Hope WM10 improve the exp but I am not getting my hope up.
 
I'm in the 7 works so why upgrade camp right now. I don't have a touch screen and don't really like touch screens all that much. I have a five year old upper middle class machine so I'm not sure how it would take to a new OS; old computers tend to be a pretty consrvative bunch. Though I did upgrade to an SSD so that might make things mo' better for an upgraded OS. Maybe wait until this machine dies then upgrade on the next. I understand that Clippy's sister shows up on Win 10.
 
Added Start Menu to Windows 8.1 and looks just like Windows 7. Not sure why so much hate. Works great and will update to Windows 10 shortly.
 
^^^This, I never added a start up button but people make way too big of a deal about windows 8/8.1 its not all that tough to boot to desktop in either version. Way too much complaining about metro. I do agree metro sucks with a mouse.
 
Win 3.1 - Awesome. After getting the modem to work at least
Win95 - Awesome. Even with blue screens. Drivers that don't require tweaking irqs and crap.
Winnt 4 - Awesome. All corporate and stuff.
Win98 - Awesome. No issues. Bring all the games
Win2000 - After adjustment period, great. No issues
WinXP - After adjustment period, great. No issues
Win7 - After adjustment period, great. No issues
Win8 - After adjustment period, great. No issues
Win10 - After adjustment period, great. No issues.

Its just an OS people
