Heh heh, I got a survey from JD Power asking me about my recent dealings with our homebuilder. They put a buck in with the survey .

Gotta bribe people somehow to get them to fill these things out I guess.

yeah i got one a while back with a brand new dollar in it for a survey about cars...i never did the survey, asked way too much personal info. kept the dollar tho

My girlfriend got a gift certificate for 2 movie tickets, 2 drinks and a small popcorn from them after she bought her A4. I never got anything from them after I bought my Z3. The dealership sent me a fruit basket though.

Yup I got a survey with a $1 from JD Power as well, but for inquiring about my recent car-buying experience instead. Watch, you'll get a follow-up postcard from them in a couple days cordially guilt-tripping you to fill out the survey. I actually took the time to complete it because the questions were thoughtful ones.

pc mag sent me a dollar last year, i was so happy

then i wrote on the survey: "next time, send $10 or $20 and i might actually fill this out" and sent it back

I've got a couple $50 checks for filling out some 20 minute surveys on my companies IT expectations

Yeah, i got a buck from them to fill out a thingy about my new car purchase recently.

It was WAY too long though...so i filled out as much as i wanted to and sent it back

the dollar definitely made me think about it more though!
