I wish I could call him and tell him how much his coverage and support is truely appreciated. Thank you Sincerely! It makes me feel less alone in this empty office. My hear goes out to all of us... I feel so foolish for taking my patriotism for granted b4 this. pace!

They took him off here in San Fran for local news. It was cool to here his reaction hours after it happened because of the delay.
 
I hope someone has an MP3 of it, I cannot get stern here in West Palm Beach, Florida. My first thought was to Howard after this happend since his show is so close to the WTC towers.

How serious is Howard taking this? I know he usually makes fun of things that are not funny.

No matter if he's taking it seriously or not, he's already made at least one person feel better in this tragedy so I think he's done a good job.
 
no he did a tremendous job today on the coverage.. they had all the tvs on in the show and were talking to people nonstop.. it was well done.. and people were calling in all over thanking him.. i wish i had his # i wouldve also.. the whole stern crew did well covering all the areas and it was very emotional..pace
 
I'll look forward to seeing it on E! I actually think he's a great guy contrary to the image he tries to portray
 
I listened to it as it happened on HS... and he was amazing... very human.... you could feel the pain in his voice.... a very odd thing to sense from the king of jaded...
 
Yes, he said he didn't even want to be on the air at first but then kept getting encouragement and was doing a wonderful job of it. I was pissed they took it off for the local news.
 
a bump for Howard Stern - I pretty much hate his show, but if he treated this issue with deserving respect - he's gained a bit more from me
