Coolest birthday party I ever attended was a friend's in 1st grade. They rented boas, tarantulas, scorpions, and other things for us to look at, and we got to wear the former scarf-style. Totally awesome. The funny thing is that the friend himself turned out to be too afraid to even touch any of the snakes. Crocodiles do seem like a different matter, but if no one dies, cool.

Animals aren't 100% predictable. I met a gut who raised alligators, he had some impressive scars on his arms.

When I was in Thailand I went to my gf cousin's house. She was in the business of raising crocs. She must have had 500 baby crocs in these concrete containers. They were very snappy. Take your fingers off in a second.
