Thai BBQ Sweet Sauce

Got a craving for some Thai BBQ

But I can't help but think about the sauce that goes along with it. If you guys have ever been to a thai restaurant, particulary Thai BBQ, they serve this kind of a sweet thick sauce, kinda like sweet and sour sauce but better.

I've been searching around googling it but I can't find the right recipe

anyone here knows what I'm talking about?

When you are talking about thai bbq, are you talking about satay?

I think Satay has a peanut flavor to it, the one I dig quite a bit is the pork ribs that comes off the bones real easy, then u dip it into that sweet thick sauce ****wanna drink the thick sauce****
