Anyone heard from ThaGrandCow lately? I had a deal arranged with him over in the FS/FT section, but since the hurricane (9/19), he's not logged into AT nor has he responded to any emails. He lived in Virginia, I think, so I don't know the level of damage in that area.

Anyone here heard from him?

not only without power, but many many of them not able to live in their homes.. posessions destroyed.. all that stuff.

 
I'm in VA, and yes, I'd give it more time. Some people are still without power. Timeframe estimates fluctuate anywhere from days to weeks as to when it will be restored.

And how do you infer that? Why do you assume I am not sincere in hoping that he is OK. I really could care less about the deal... it was just a computer trade. Big woop.

Just FYI: after we had a tentative agreement, I saw another guy who was offering what could have been a better deal for ThaGrandCow, and told TGC if he wanted to bail on me, that was ok.

So, unless you know the facts, keep your garbage info to yourself.

OOOH. You may be right. 😱 It really has been nearly a year or year and a half since I hung around these AT OT threads... so maybe I've forgotten how to read sarcasm!!
