:wine:clink!:wine: I'll drink to that. Today was the first day in four days that I didn't hear about someone getting laid off or fired.

No, that would be a generation Y light bulb.

today is the first time in 4 days that I didn't lay off somebody or fire him/her.

edit: somebody just quit, however. She just moved here from new york. We hired her the other day as a receptionist for $8.50 an hour. She called in "moving" on her first day, called in "truck stolen on her 2nd day" but came in anyway, and called in asking for $15 an hour today. I had a feeling we were in trouble that first day...

Did anybody else notice that the OP listed 135 distinct forum members? How do you count those FM's? For example, do fmc and lizardeth count as two people even if they use the same computer? What if petrusbroder posts from all 217 of his computers? Why are you still reading this?

Nuh uh! She has her computer (with a single 22" screen) and I have mine (with dual 19" screens). Then there is the server, and the two laptops.

No, it is not. But it is One Year and Three Days from the start of the thread ... and less than two days from a Friday (at least where i am) ... in a place or two it is just a wee hours more then two days - why is the earth a globe? If it were flat and non-turning we all would have the same time ...

And I just got my keg refilled yesterday afternoon.
Might be a good weekend to smoke up some more salmon...
I would have to begin preparations tonight!
