TGG is Stuck in Atlantic Beach, NC.. damn snow - new bern is out - need help......

we are stuck here.. charlotte is probably down tommorow.. plan to fly from raleigh... what's the weather there right now? We plan to drive from Atlantic beach to Raleigh (tommorow morning) becuase new bern wont be a choice even though on the way its too small of an airport with no ILS landing and take off faclilites on those dassult dash 8 planes.

Anyway I need some suggestoins from NC ppl from atot.

If your in NC and you want to come north, such as Baltimore,DC or Philly, forget it. You wont be going anywhere near these places until well into tomorrow night...and thats IF they get the snow cleared fast.

Dude, stay the hell off the roads here. The roads in and around raleigh and all over NC are in bad shape. Highway patrol has said that unless you absolutely HAVE to go out to stay home

well we arent sure what to do... 30+ ppl from CA are stuck here.. and 5 ppl going else where are stuck too...

we all came for a wedding...

Its not snowing here, but its cold, windy and rainy in atlantic beach.

We cant figure out what to do.. there are ppl here who want to get home to due to work/gf/ etc etc.. frankly i dont care when i get home. I just dont know because we dont have too many options out here in the boonies..

I mean we went out today and guess what none of the stores we wanted to go to were open. .... ugh.. the worst part is US air is hard to get hold of and we cant get our things cleared with them because the airport (new bern) is helpless with info. the main US air number seems to be always busy.

ugh!

Any suggestions? We got a 15passenger gmc van so travelling is cool but it was very dangerous because our rear tyres have lesser grip than the fronts and there is no ABS.
we got a few more cars but this is hell i tell you... oh well atleast we got 4 women and 12 guys in this one house.. 🙂

Uh, how about stay the hell wherever youre at? I know youre from CA so you're not used to this weather, but STAY THE HELL OFF THE ROADS!!!!!!
