tftp help needed

I'm need to get a tftp server running on RedHat 7.2. I installed the tftp server rpm and enabled the service. I created the directory /tftpboot and put a file in the directory. Now when I tftp from another machine and type "get filename" it times out. Any ideas as to what I have configured wrong.
