The server went from 14 people to 1 person in 30 seconds flat 🙁

Someone mentioned I needed to turn up the volume on my mic - it's maxed in both Windows (with 20db boost) and TF2 (with voice boost or whatever). If anyone knows of a way I could boost the volume even more, that would be great. I'm running a decent Genius mic (maybe $5, got good reviews at NewEgg) through an X-Fi XtremeMusic. If not, I guess I'll just get a new mic - it's rough not being able to communicate.

I'm on a similar setup, so it should work fine. Did you boost microphone gain through Steam? May help a bit.

We were going till bout 10, probably. 2Fort killed it. Went from 16 to about 8 on map switch.

Anyway, I had fun. I have discovered that I love the KGB's. Woot.

yeah, I have a cheapy from microcenter (cost $3). Sorry about not being able to hear me early on during the game. My microphone was not plugged in all the way😱

Sweet, got it working. I've been lazy since I sold my Fatality X-fi a month or so ago and haven't had to hook my mic back up. Turned out to be a setting in Realtek application. Next time we play I should be loud and clear. 😉

I know, everyone's like "we have to kill BLUE" and I'm just laughing at you guys and I keep forgetting that you can see the speech bubbles over my head when I cloak...
 
We'll definitely do it again.

Vivi: yeah, we ended up taking the password off after a while and a few non-ATers came in. Also I think it would be good, if you're not going to be there, to have something in place for map voting, etc. just because people seem to get tired of certain maps pretty quickly.

Good times all around though! :beer:

The logitech USB based mic is good for me. (But its a bit expensive, about 20$)
 
I missed out. 🙁

I was all set to leave work early (and by early I mean on time) but ended up having to finish off some stuff before I left.

2 Fort sucks hard. I would have stayed longer, but I was tired from having played most of the day on other servers.

That was good stuff. Good amount of people and quite a few who used their mics. (I dislike super quiet servers)

I have added the admin plug in, so hopefully me and KT can figure out a good way to get in map voting 'live' if we get bored of the map we are on.


Maybe I could open this up publicly and just give everyone on AT admin ^_^
