I'll always root for the home team (Texas), but they are going to get smashed. They are just not very good this year.

I'm still pissed that I paid $160 dollars last week to see them get slaughtered by a bottom of the barrel Pac-10 team.

OUCH! Ya that was a sad game for Texas. But let's stay positive and see what happens today!

Longhorn here and rooting for Texas, but their offensive is pretty damn iffy. Hell even their defense seems a bit slow today.

We're the home team this year btw. And yeah, we're smashing Texas.

You are wrong.

Haha, you're not really disproving my point any.

And yes, I know it was changed for the reason you're whining about, but the name was stupid to begin with. You'd have a point if rivalry didn't make more sense. Its a football game, between two rival teams, what makes more sense to call it a rivalry, or a shootout? With the way the game usually goes, calling it the Red River Massacre or maybe Red River Circle The Wagons makes more sense, as it very rarely ever lives up to the billing of a shootout.

I may need to recalibrate my sarcasm meter, but when I say home team I mean the team from the city I live in (Austin).

Don't bother, I'm sure it's within spec. I've run into few people that didn't realize this game is played on neutral ground.

I'd be rather worried about this game if Texas wan't getting so many penalties. You guys are shooting yourselves in the foot today.

Whatever happens to the awesome defense from Muschamp? Last week and this week = fail, especially last week vs. a losing team at home.

did you watch either game??? his defensive scheme is fantastic. he's not the one out on the field making costly penalties, missing tackles, and blowing assignments.

my heart is getting old for such "exciting" last 5 minutes. Thought I had multiple cardiac arrests when Jones dropped the ball near the end. OU still won though, thanks god.

GO SOONERS!!!
