Bring it, bitch! We had a major storm early Sunday morning - wind gusts well over 50mph and heavy rain. We were supposed to get hit with major storms the past 3 days - nothing. BTW, thats a very, um, nice drawing.

Of course it would have to happen on the day when I have to go up to Little Rock for a funeral.

I love T-Storms... as long as there is no hail to smash my car while I'm at work or a tornado to destroy my house :)

East/Central Texas needs to watch out? NE OK is projected to get up to 5" of rain between yesterday and tomorrow. It was a downpour all day yesterday and it just stopped raining not too long ago today (but the sky's full of storm clouds).

No, I'm being honest dude. I don't think anyone would shed a tear if an F5 ate your lunch. Long as you were the only one to go.

Just out of sheer morbid curiousity, why do you harbor such hate for me?

Its getting pretty dark here in Las Colinas. Hail Probility high. Too bad I increased the deductible on my car insurance from $50 to $1000. :(

No, the one over by the AMC Sundance 11 theatre. I work about a mile from there and left it after lunch after getting a ride back.

I was living over on 7th street accross from the Montgomery Wards building back in 2000 in the new 7th St. Station apts when the tornado hit. I was lying down around 6:15 in bed wondering what it would be like if a tornado came between my building and the next - and low and behold the skies opened up, the wind / hail / debris etc caused chaos and I was in amazement.

I went to the balcony (I lived on the top floor) and watched the wind whip on the MW building, chew up power lines, causing bright orange explosions as it happened. One man was later found dead in that very same MW debris. After awhile I was thinking, "hmmmm... a tornado is about 1000 feet from me and while no debris was blowing at me a 2x4 might cause a lot of damage if applied to my head", so I closed the sliding glass doors and went to my bedroom and watched the news, talked to my dad and watched more of the tornado pass by.

After it was over by about 7:00pm I went walking a few blocks to downtown to survey the damage. The Cash America building was severly damaged. A Channel 8 Newsman was there along with a cop and two other people. I found out later that I was on television during the newscast. It was kind of funny becuase like I said there was only 3 or 4 people there, and the policeman didnt say anything to us until the camera light came on. Then all of a sudden he said, "OK! I need every one to stand back away from the building"...trying to act real official and such. It turned out that the FBI had a secret investigative office in that building a later on that night it was surrounded with agents scouring the debris for documents. The traffic lights were out on 7th street so I had to pass to a few police checkpoints for a few days with a copy of lease just to get in my apartment

I was also on vacation that week. My cousing and I went around downtown surveying and exploring the damaged buildings. I dont ever want it to happen again, but it was quite an experience.
