Why would someone "give" a homeless person drugs? Don't dealers typically want to sell their products, preferably to people with a continuing ability to pay? Seems like a ludicrous presumption to assert that he was giving a valuable commodity away for free to someone with no chance of repeat business.

That is a pretty bizarre concept. I would not have suspected that drug dealer charity was a burning societal problem.

The cops are just trying to crack down on the brilliant marketing solution of giving your product away to people who can't afford it in a clever scheme to get them hooked and be unable to pay you for more product they now desperately crave.

Obviously the solution is to only give bills, and before handing it over grasping it lightly by one corner, holding it up out at arm's length, and slowly rotating 360 degrees so that all the hidden cameras get a clear view.

There are arrests of officers for DWI, sexual predation/assault, involvement with drugs, sex with inmates/supplying drugs to inmates. With the exception of the dealing with inmates, these things are no different than some of the population of the US get caught doing. Damn I guess the Police and Sheriffs are human.

Not defending or apologizing for police/sheriffs that have acted badly just keeping the fact that many police/sheriffs do their jobs without being corrupt every day in perspective. This forum is always pointing out the worst of police while ignoring the good that others do on a daily basis.
