Nothing says small government like government mandated dress code.

The funny thing is, if someone like FDC was really an advocate of small government, he'd be wondering why the department of agriculture is wasting its time updating its dress code (surely it already had one? what was wrong with it?), because logically it should have better things to do, and if it doesn't, surely its number of employees can be whittled down to a number that won't be wasting their time like this.

But no, LOL emoji is the best his brain can do.

Can you imagine the meltdown that conservatives like FDC would have expressed if the government mandated dress code was worded in a super trans friendly manner. Then all the usual conservative excuses would be trotted out, such as small government.

It's not terribly likely, but I would be curious to hear their tune when a trans man that looks very masculine starts showing up to work in a dress. Can't find it now but I did see a pic of a guy that did this to a family event as a form of malicious compliance.

They also have dress codes in the middle east.

All respectable places do.

When you say respectable I'm guessing you're talking about the uppity establishments with the sign on the entrance that says "No shirt, No shoes, No service."

Now don't forget to bring back the toilet key chained to a cinder block when you're finished taking a Trump.

A dress code is a matter of decorum. If you are not up to standards, you have to go home and change.

You may not wear a mustache and lipstick at work. Sorry. 😞

And why not? Because it offends your shitty, biased opinions and fake morals? That isn't what standards should be based on, those are just limitations and restrictions that YOU want to force on others.

Did you mean, 'small minority OF the left' as opposed to 'ON the left' ?

Because if you meant it how you stated it...it's another example of your dishonest projection.

And Missouri! Those women best have some sleeves!
We stopped in Kirksville, MO on a cross country flight, on a Sunday.
The FBO loaned us a beater car to go get some lunch at the buffet. My darling wife had the audacity to wear capri pants and Gasp! she exposed her arms AND shoulders.
Some haughty bitch commented that she might be more comfortable in the bar.
WTF is wrong with these people?

Texas Republicans plan to rescind no-fault divorce laws—meaning women in abusive relationships must provide evidence of abuse in court before being granted a divorce (rewinding the progress of women’s liberation back to the Fifties.) The Steven Crowders of the world can’t believe that “their” women can leave them just because they’re undeserving assholes.

From the Texas GOP Party Platform:

“rescind unilateral no-fault divorce laws and support covenant marriage and to pass legislation extending the period of time in which a divorce may occur to six months after the date of filing for divorce”

Zero chance it flies. 1st amendment lawsuits will shut it down. Remember this isn't a private business but the government regulating dress which is surrogate for speech. Just another silly law that won't improve anyone's life but will result in a lengthy tax payer funded lawsuit which the state will eventually lose.
