New dress code for the women that work for the Texas Department of Agriculture?

Florida is fading fast in the race to be the most fucked up state in the country.

I really can't fathom this need of their politicians to pander, to grovel at the feet of their moral overseers in the religious sector when these theocrats are a minority of the overall demographic represented in that state. Is it that the conservatives there feel they have a total lockdown on the state and are thus able to force their will on what I think is the non-aligned majority of the state? If so, that quite accurately describes what a fascist state is.

So then is it the agenda of what I jokingly describe as the "Conservative" party that behaves much more like a Fascist party desperately attempting to force the democratically led states to kneel to their style of theocratically infected fascism or what? Doesn't seem like a successful plan at all, or is this how a doomed criminal behaves staring at the gallows from behind a standing row of steel bars?

"For women, business attire includes tailored pantsuits"... so women are allowed to wear trousers and men are allowed to wear trousers? That doesn't seem like "dressing according to your biological gender" to me. Surely women should be wearing a skirt or dress if their biological gender is that important? I don't much understand the "no miniskirts" bit either. No excessive cleavage either? The relevance of biological gender is to fuck and bear children, doesn't this department want this to happen? In the interests of dressing according to biological gender, I fully endorse men wearing ginormous strap-ons so that their manly assets strain the seams of their trousers, thus advertising their virility to breeding stock in the vicinity.

I thought it was rather humorous when it was previously mentioned that the conservative leaders in the GOP who are exploiting the Christians of the nation in order to preserve the hold on their states were compared with the Taliban but now I have come to see that the Churches that have fallen in with these most vile and corrupted politicians have tainted themselves via this association and have begun to look more and more like the Taliban descriptor I was so amused with in the past.

@tweaker2 at this point I think both church and GQP have spent so much time sniffing each other's asses that they're imitating each other's behaviour. Their behaviour doesn't have to make any kind of holistic sense any more because their fanbase hasn't exhibited any kind of critical thinking in politics for quite some time. Both church and GQP are cool with petty and vulgar displays of power, and their fans appreciate that because the fans believe that their idols having that power means they have that kind of power too.

After reading your posts I was wondering whether the GQP would end up with a key religious figure running the party or whether it would be the other way around, but AFAIK the religions are playing the more subtle game which allows them to denounce the GQP and seize the narrative should they ever want to.

The GOP really needs a new rebranding strategy/campaign. No longer are they the party of fiscal conservativism or small government. It is really hurting their image to confuse people like this.

I doubt it. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.
