There's still a button, and two blinds. Doesn't matter if there's a dedicated dealer or not.

He is saying it switches when you are down to 2 in tournament paly. I never noticed in all my time playing online and watching it on tv. My home games are ring games so I havent gotten to it but I have won a home game type tourny and didnt think we switched it up. Maybe we did it wrong but I dont know.

Simply put, the dealer is small blind in heads up play. Watch any tournament online or on TV if you want visual proof.

Just googled it, first 5 links all say the dealer is the small blind. One gives a great reason... if the dealer were the big blind and got to act last, it would be too powerful of a position.

Exactly. Dealer is SB in heads-up play. It's the only fair way to do things.
