Texas 35 - Tech 31. Refs clearly biased towards Texas but Tech still blew it.

Have they not watched the tape of the TCU, Mizzou, and Colorado games?

Tech is rushing Texas, but Texas isnt rushing Tech.

Im boggled at the Texas Defensive Play calling.

Not only arent they rushing, the are giving up the underneath 10 yard plays.

And now Texas is finally on track.

FYI, I was expecting Texas to blowout Tech, which is why I was shocked how poorly they have played on defense.

They are still playing fairly poorly on defense, but Texas offense is light years better than the Tech Defense.

They are still having problems with Techs offense. They got lucky on that fumble. Just poor ball handling(as usual) by Tech.

Texas is no way going to blow out Texas like they should have.

This is going to be a high scoring game. My prediction is the score total goes over 100.

Just another obeservation. Texas' secondary is full of pussies. They have been stiff armed so many times by Techs WRs. It shouldnt take 3-4 guys to tackle a WR.

Where are the defenses?

Tech has no defense. Well they have more of a defense they have ever had, but that really isnt saying much.

A better question is, WTF is Texas defense. Tech has ZERO problem moving the ball.

Tech has only been stopped twice.

Once on a total BS replay.

The other careless ball handling, which has been Tech's problem all year.

Another key Big 12 South game, A&M at Baylor.

Baylor is keeping it with in striking distance, 21 - 21 in the third.

These refs just blow. McCoy was well over the line of scrimmage and no flag.

Then he goes out of bounds and they call it a TD. Later reversed, but my god, if they had called McCoy for passing after crossing the line of scrimmage, Texas would have been backed up.

Wow.. Texas Tech has 406 passing yards and ZERO rushing yards! Even with sacks counting against the rushing total in college, that's ridiculous!

Texas Tech DOES NOT run the ball. They pass 90% of the time, and are very effective at it. Although inconsistent at times.

Besides the refs being biased towards Texas, Tech still couldn't put them away because they don't have a running game.

Worst pass interference call I've ever seen in my entire life. Texas is lucky they got that.

One thing's for sure, Texas will slip up againt OSU, KSU, or A&M and won't be able to comeback like they did today.

Well it was a stupid call by the coach. They should have

1. Challenged the spot on third down
2. If they lost(which they probably wouldnt have), throw a quick pass. Texas tech had zero problem with the short yard passes, hell they had no problems passing period, they didnt have a 3 and out until very last in the 4th quarter.

You're talking about the 4th down attempt where they tried a QB sneak, right?

If so, I agree, it wasn't a good call. Texas not only has the 2nd best run defense in the nation, but Tech lacks a running game of any kind really. Their o-line isn't built for run-blocking.

I would've tried something other than a QB sneak, I know that much...
