In any event, my parents are from Plano. No matter how you look at it for them, ending Robin Hood will lower their property taxes. You can tax movies/haircuts/cars all you want, and it's not going to even be a drop in the bucket compared to how much the state was stealing from Plano

We havent had one of those rolling blackouts in a couple of years since the power companies stopped ripping us off with that texas company -enron
I am grateful every time I go past the big whirly things in the mountains making electricity for the city
gogo windpower!

If you think Enron was the sole cause of it, you are mistaken. Other power companies were also quite heavily involved.

If you think Enron was the sole cause of it, you are mistaken. Other power companies were also quite heavily involved.

ANd they produce probably less than 1% of the power needed....

According to the California investigation, the rolling blacks outs were caused by Duke, Dynegy, Mirant, Reliant and AES/Williams.

And you dont think their books havent been thoroughly gone over since Enron et al? Take off the tin foil hat. Or do you think Enron and World Com were the only ones caught. ~20 major companies were caught/came clean after the Enron fiasco.
