What a joke. This is like you got caught stealing and your fine is less than the cost of the item you stole, plus you get to keep it.

Truth. It seems like Apple/Jobs are the only ones who have the balls to tell carriers to _____ off when they try to install their bloat in their phones.
But yet Steve Jobs couldn't tell AT&T to stuff it on tethering when he was alive?

Lots of iPhone users got those dreaded AT&T text that automatically upgraded them to a tethering plan.
Android users running custom roms? Not so much.

Was thinking the same thing. When will all of the people they stole from be receiving their checks in the mail, with interest? Guess the FCC can't be bothered with that. It will be up to some lawyer to file a class action against VZW, receive $15 million legal fees, and get everyone in the class $0.13 in the settlement.
