Well I ran 3 tests. For prime95 I had my options set: Options/torture test/custom, in "memory to use" I had both cores set at 820mb's.

PRIME95: 38 hrs, 46 min, 0 errors, 0 warnings.

3DMARK05: 7093

3DMARK06: 3868

What do you guys think? Good or no good? This is my first time doing this type of testings. So, need some feedbacks. Later.

why are you even priming if your running stock?

Also, I get around 6700 in 3D mark 05. I think you should be getting alot higher since you got a 7800 series card.

Are you running the latest drivers for your video card? Is this a fresh install? Are you running the AMD patch?

I score just about 12k in 3dmark 05'.. But your score seems just a little low for tha 7800..

DAM What??? There's a patch?? Yes this is my new rig I just bought. I mean I got the lastes bios for my DFI board, but I didnt know there's a patch. Do you have a link??? I beleive I got the lastes drivers. I went to nvidia's website and went to downloads, but they dont' have a driver update for the 7800gt. They have one for the 7800gtx. So if you know something I dont know, which is I probably don't know, then please send a link for me. Thanks. Newbie in case you didn't realize.

Here's the lastest update for my nvidia driver: Forceware version is 81.89 and my lastest bios version is: 5.70.02.13.07. I hope this helps. And I would know if i have the lastet patch for amd. How can you check that?

1. that is not the latest graphics driver from nvidia.
2. please do a search on this forum.
3. i get 10-11k in 3dmark05 on my x1900xt
4. i got 4xxx in 3dmark05 with my vanilla 6800 128mb coolbits oced
5. 3dmark scores dont really mean much. the 7800gt should be fine for most if not all games with no aa/af on.

It's perfectly sensible to run prime95 at stock speeds to tell whether or not your CPU is defective. Saves a lot of trouble if you prime your rig before overclocking.

Well I installed the new driver from tweakrus and I really didnt improve in 3dmark05 and 06. Before the lastest driver update I had for 3dmark05 was 7093 now with the new driver I got 7022 and 3dmark06 before the new driver 3868, w/new driver 3880. So what gives? Is it my vid card? I looked at other people test and they seem to get way better scores than i do.

What vid card do you have? i dl the new driver from tweaksrus and I actually lost some performance in 3dmark05 but I gained a tiny bit in 3dmark06. So I dont get it what's going on. Is it cause you OCed your rig that helped to get such a high score?

AA means anti-ailising? What does AF mean? Artifacting? So if your saying if those are on then my card won't functions as well? I turned of vertical sync and the rest is on controlled app.

AF is Anistropic Filtering. Its a good thing.

Did you properly uninstall your old drivers? Get Driver Cleaner and do the following:

1. Download Driver Cleaner and the latest nVidia drivers (the extremeg ones from tweak are good in my experience).
2. Install Driver Cleaner. Uninstall video card drivers.
3. Reboot into Safe Mode, run Driver Cleaner (only for nVidia video drivers so you don't screw up your chipset drivers or anything).
4. Reboot normally and install the drivers, restarting afterwards.
5. Test
6. Profit.

Um how do you get driver cleaner? I did down load the driver 84.22v2 from tweaksrus. When I boot up it doesn't give me a choice to boot in safe mode.
