Done by Bit-tech...In the conclusion, they say if you're gonna be overclocking you should still buy the expensive ram but can't you just put it on a divider??

Yeah, I'm kinda confused as well. I thought everyone was saying how a CAS latency of 4 is the "sweet spot" when it seems to be that it makes almost no difference. I am planning on building a Conroe system and overclocking. Now considering that I'm a medium to heavy gamer, which CAS latency would be best for me? I have a tight budget and I want to get the best performance with games possible. I would be willing to sacrifice some performance on memory if it means that the money could be better spent on a nicer video card that would give me more of a boost.

Thank you for the link. I think this is a good thing. People don't have to shell out tons of money on memory to run Conroe at its best. I think even the 5-5-5-15 will suffice, but I am now convice that a C3 is not neccessary. I will most definitely go for the C4s.
