Is there a way to test a new PSU before putting it into your comp? I just want to be sure nothing will expolde in my new pc.

Get a tester online. You can't just short out a couple pins on the connector as itr suggests - not without putting some kind of dummy load on it, or you'll damage it. Testers are cheap and anyone doing any kind of computer work should have one.
