This guy makes some interesting stuff, if you haven't seen his YouTube channel here's a link:

I'm playing around with .gif and various frame rate and compression types etc.
This video just dropped and I figured it was worth using as an experimental file.

Fun facts:

That's a 7 foot, 80 pound axe.

Compare to real swords in the 1.5 - 3.0 pound range.
The largest two hand great swords maxed at 5.0 - 8.0 pounds.
Even a heavy splitting maul is typically 8.0 - 12.0 pounds.

I have a blacksmith's sledgehammer that I found in an estate sale, similar to this.

Get yourself a #10 can and build a forge. Use a MAPP torch, hotter is better.

Find a scrap yard and get a chunk of railroad or similar for a cheap anvil.
Make a bunch of the same basic item to learn how to aim the hammer and move metal.

There's lots of stuff you can do with a crappy small forge as a n00b.

Make bottle openers, knives, shoehorns, decorative hooks, hairpins, knobs, trivets, candle holders,
key rings, flatware, chisels, punches, outlet covers, bracelets, pendants, chimes, bookends, etc.
