Testing blank DVDs

I'm having some trouble with my DVD burner.

How can I check if a DVD is TRULY blank?

ONES tells me the DVD is blank, but I need to know for sure (the dvds were ejected after a failed burning.... the problem with my dvd).

If the burn process began at all past the copying of the data to memory, then they've been burned to some degree, but if it wasn't completed then the data may not be formatted properly so that it can actually be read. If burner software doesn't show that there is reduced total space on the disc, then it should be blank; the software can see whether any space has been used, even if it's not readable data.

When I try to burn it gives me this error:
Invalid Field in CDB in ONES, and DVD Reallocation Files failed in Nero

Is my burner screwed? It's very recent 🙁

Sorry, what is ONES?

Are other programs also giving this error?
Try other media.

Try using kprobe and dvd identifier to check your discs.

Nero log after trying to burn on the already-used failed burning DVD:

I don't want to use an un-used DVD on Nero, cuz I get the DVD-Files Reallocation Failed problem, and sort of mess up another DVD.

Any ideas?
