need some song suggestions.

So far I've run 2 hrs of classical and a little over an hour of trance. Now I'd like some stuff with vocals or if non-vocal must be bass heavy. And yes I realize that it is 1:45am but the next 3 apartments down are empty atm.

Thanks

Hmm .....

If by test, you mean test for volume as well as how "tight" the sound is, try some Abigor ... Probably not your style, but everything on the "Satanized" CD has fast bass drum "blast beats", as well as very deep bass/guitar at times. If it sounds like one long indistinguisable buzz, your sub sucks.

The best way to test a sub is to play dynamic bass...

what the hell is the point of having a 25hz response if it totally clashes with your speakers....

So far it sounds fine with my speakers. I've got the X-over set to 50hz. The sub is an Outlaw LFM-1. The speakers are Advent AS2s. Granted the speakers need to be replaced but they sound better since I added the sub. This is the classical music I listened too. Sounded great. :D Once I move I'm gonna try and pick up another one of these subs.

50hz fine

I have mine set to 80 only because that is my reciever's lowest setting..otherwise I would go with 45hz...

<---not willing to wire it through sub

Story Of The Year - Until The Day I Die has a good mix of heavy vocals and drums and all that. Not a bad song either.

If you're interested, I can upload the song to my server at 320kbps for a temporary time.
