Test memory?

How can I test my memory to see how good it is? Is there software that I can test it with?

I've tried many memory testing programs including:

Doc Memory
memtest 86
goldmem
tufftest

And Goldmem is the best by far. It was the only program that could detect a problem in a new DIMM I recently bought that was causing my system to crash. After cranking down my mem timings, everything is work again.

I checked all over the internet and couldn't find goldmem or memtest 86.

sorry I totally skipped over the post, I was thinking this was a different thread where someguy put a total bs post on the first reply.
