It's unfortunate, but most dealers will not let you test drive an Lancer Evolution, the car I'm interested in...
But I had signed up before and went anyways. I still got the poster and DVD even without driving a car.
But you have to chit-chat with a sales person for a bit...

really?

i dont have the most convincing look of a serious car buyer (young, asian male in school, but maybe i fit the profile of most buyers of this car?) and i was offered a test drive a month ago when i went in to look around... santa monica mistubishi, who clamied to be the #1 dealership of the evo. *shrugs*

Heh, I'm envious - I got shot down as well trying to test drive an Evo. Also on a Z and an SRT-4. There's just no love.

you do fit the profile, but most the time its the parents buying it

By Maryland law, you do not have to take test drive. Unfortunately some other manufacturers are excluding MD residents from offers like these. Saw no exclusion so hopefully I will be good to go.
