Tesla moving workers off of Cybertruck production. Who could have thunk this? Those non-car people maybe?

The price killed any value it had. They emailed me before New Year's & said I'd get free supercharging for LIFE and free Self-driving if I bought before-year-end. It was tempting (free fuel for life??) but $80k for 325 miles just seems bonkers to me. The starting lease price is nuts as well:

I will say, that track rail with adjustable rings is pretty slick. I wonder how much tension you can put on it? I'll have to think about building something similar for my truck.

I saw a CT with a solid cream colored (eggnog-ish) wrap. Coming up from behind it, I honestly thought I was overtaking a truck pulling a home-built trailer.

Quite a few around me now. My kids point and laugh when they see it.

I really wish they had kept the rollout look...meaty tires, lightbar, foglights, full taillight bar, etc. It looks like a robot guppy IRL lol.

I'd still take one

I'm very late to the party, but my 07 tundra has those, and I'm guessing they've been around longer than that. They're neat but very much not invented in 2024.

The European market version of my wagon has them but they weren't included in the U.S. market version. 🙁

Saw another one on the road. The stainless steel just looks...dirty. From the back, it really does look like a cross between a dumpster & a fridge.

I'd describe the driving style as "lumbering". It just kind of lumbers down the road...
