Haven't canceled my order, haven't placed it yet. We'll see what the future holds...
Actually. I now think it's the perfect car for you. I think it's destiny. Get it and if you don't have stock get some. Just so you can vote for elon's comp package. Seriously.

Will you be contributing to my GoFundMe? hahaha

I've seen a few good wraps around here that dramatically improve the appearance of it IMO. I still would not buy one.

My go-to combination would be a silver wrap with aftermarket wheels. I like this wrap because it gives it the OG stainless-steel color appearance, but without looking all dirty & worn:

Then with these wheels:

Yes, but as you can see, this one goes off-road!
Now that I think about it, maybe that is 3M RMB and not Mexican Pesos. Chinese mechanic shop is a bit strange in Merida, Yucatán

414k USD if it is indeed RMB.

I was being genuine. I honestly hope he gets it, I have no interest in trying to convince him otherwise anymore and accepted his happiness, so I'd literally be happy if it worked out.

I need to get up to ATOT Baller™ level someday lol

F-250's are super popular where I live was family vehicles. All of these new trunks have laughably tall front-ends. Like just a wall of metal haha. It's like a vertical metal shredder on just about any brand you see these days:

Even cross overs like the Forester have really increased their hood heights. I really can't stand it.

My buddy swapped vehicles with his other buddy who has a Rivian. His review:

* The advantages of the Rivian are (1) 4 motors, (2) better range, and (3) a spare tire
* However: (1) it's louder than the Cybertruck, (2) drove like a pickup truck, and (3) tech feels outdated inside

Performance-wise, the Rivian truck options are:

1. Dual-motor AWD: 4.5s (533hp)
2. Performance dual-motor AWD: 3.5s (665hp)
3. Quad-motor AWD: 3.0s (835hp)

Rivian battery options:

1. Standard: 270m
2. Standard Plus: 315m
3. Large: 352m
4. Max: 410m

For the Cybertruck:

1. RWD: 6.5s
2. AWD: 4.1s (600hp)
3. Cyberbeast: 2.6s (845hp)

Cybertruck battery options:

1. RWD: 250m
2. AWD: 340m
3. Cyberbeast: 320m

The Cybertruck also has a 120-mile add-on battery backpack for $16k, which apparently has a 25% take rate: (not sure if this is currently shipping or not)

It has to be professionally installed & eats up the bed space, however. It also weighs roughly 600 pounds & reduces the payload from 2,500 pounds to 1,900 pounds. For reference, the Rivian's payload capacity is 1,764 pounds & the F-150 Lightning's payload is 2,235 pounds. For comparison, as that article points out, you can buy a used Chevy Bolt EV for $16k lol. However, the extended battery takes the AWD model from 340 miles to 470 miles of range & the Cyberbeast from 320 miles to 440 miles of range. Note that ICE vehicles have "fuel backpacks" available as well: (either for fueling up other vehicles, or for range extension)

Why you gotta be so mean? Give him the best financial advice you could and recommend he save money and just get an Elon real doll made instead.

Let them enjoy their car and the Tesla experience, at this point I don't care to convince any of them. They can drive the scarlet letter around themselves if it makes them happy, and I'm happy knowing they are easier to spot.

I've seen one in our neighborhood twice now in the last couple of days. Not sure if it's owned by someone who lives here. I knew I'd see one around our city eventually, but didn't expect it so soon, nor right on our street.
