Yup, was just going to post that. This may be a far bigger problem for Tesla. 2 million Teslas recalled due to over 1000 crashes involving their "autopilot" feature which has now been exposed as total junk. And remember that Tesla is now arguing in court that they shouldn't have been charged with false advertising because they claimed this feature would allow the car to drive itself.

And if I remember correctly they wanted to limit their liability regarding accidents.

Holy crap I hope not.

Also if I wake up post mortem and find myself anywhere I am gonna be super pissed… cause it’ll mean that a sob like me wrote this reality… and that would be a bummer.

Also remember Elon and a lot of self driving fanboys just want everyone to accept the self driving systems are automatically safer than human drivers with basically no evidence. The numbers they use as proof never use rates, the like to compare a small number of accidents with a small number of miles driven vs a large number of accidents with an insane number of miles driven.

I always thought the self driving thing was a gimmick. There are clearly situations where it fails miserably, so why pay $6k for a system that "probably" won't kill you or someone else?
I don't see how Tesla can now admit that it doesn't work, and most likely won't in any reasonable time frame.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Elmo & Tesla Team is of the realization that in order to get FSD up to level with say Mercedes, they gonna need more hardware... And THAT is going to suck considering all those folks that already bought a car with the promise of getting FSD down the road... maybe even PAID for it.

That is going to be one giant write-off that may not even put them past the finish line.

It's good to see the chickens come home to roost. You know for besides the fact that Elon is a completely horrible shitty Nazi.

He's also a very misleading salesman and the FSD stuff is just crazy what they've been getting away with.

They should be sued into fucking oblivion because that stuff is serious shit. It's not like the windshield wiper doesn't work right.

A fucking hundred thousand self-driving taxis cross country 5 years ago whatever nonsense that shithead has spewed.
