This is part of their "VAT Free" promotion. I managed to pick the Samsung N220 netbook for £220 (the 20% off plus I had £50 worth of clubcard vouchers) which is over £100 off retail, not bad.

Was originally posting this because it was on offer for laptops/notebooks etc but it seems the deal has moved from laptops to TVs since I last checked. It's also only Technika ones that are on sale atm. Bookmark the page because I think the items on sale are changing regularly but the URL stays the same, so you can catch a good deal if you keep an eye on it.

Does anyone actually own a Technika TV? I've not seen one outside of the shop and I doubt I would get one for my main telly but I figure they can't be bad for a sub 32 inch in the kitchen/bedroom.

Good price if you have 50 pounds off.

I really don't think anyone should be buying an Atom netbook in 2011 with the release of the new AMD products.

I think 260 pounds for the Atom is about the same price as HP's Fusion AC, before tax in the US.

Ah too late I guess. As long as I get decent shelf life out of I'll be happy.

It was kind of a joke...
Sadly there are not a whole lot of Brits that post here. Good deal for the ones that do though.

Of course some of us were looking at the US deals for years with our tongues hanging out too - but to be fair we have more than our fair share of deals across the pond now - life is not nearly as cheap as it once was (by a long shot) in the good ole US of A...

I'm looking for a cheap netbook and have noticed quite a few deals over at HUKD are almost on par with the US offerings at times - you'd never have seen that years ago..
