You are being dishonest about what your reaction would be to this scenario of the person caught was a muslim or arab. I'm being perfectly honest about how mine and others reactions would be. I'm not biases against Muslims or Arabs. If the people that commit terrorist attacks against this country are most often Muslim, then yes we should be looking at Muslims/arabs when we are trying to stop terrorism. Just like if you are looking for a child molester or serial killer, you should probably be looking for a white guy and not wasting your time interrogating a 90 year old Asia lady, who is probably not the serial killer or child molester that you're looking for.

Well, let's be honest here.. the patriot act was created by both the president and the republican controlled and operated congress... they created the bill, period. That is why I am not calling them out on it...

The democrats haven't done sh*t since they've been office, but they couldn't do a thing about the patriot act when it was actually created. Whether they voted for it or not, it was a moot gesture... blame lies in the creators and pushers of the Act.

Jon and others continue to go into threads and just say "democrats bla bla bla" when the democrats have absolutely nothing to do with the topics posted.

And it isn't partisan hackery when someone points to facts-republicans/administration did in fact create and overwhelmingly push through the Patriot Act. Nothing hackery about that. Trying to change the blame of its effects onto democrats because they have 3+ years later taken office for a few months IS hackery.

I find it amusing the democrats need minions like you to defend their actions. They voted for the patriot act that is the bottom line. This idea they were too stupid or felt pressured to sign on is imo worse than simply signing it. It shows a lack of backbone and a lack of responsibility.

I just find it amazing that every public policy that went through during this administration when republicans controlled the congress that is unpopular democrats eventhough they voted for it are using the excuse they didnt know what they were voting for or were duped into voting for it. Republican created it, president signed off on it... 65% of the blame is with republicans because republicans CREATED it and the republican president SUPPORTED it... the rest is democrats. I blame the people who create and push for something more than others who blindly went along with it... not much more, but just a little more. The democrats and republicans are to blame , but the republicans inch a little more toward being to blame because of what I mentioned before. Oh, and the 2 people to vote no or didn't vote for democrats, passed through 100% of republicans... better than nothing I suppose!
